Arrival and Departure:
Arrival is after 3pm on the first day of your holiday and you are asked to leave the property by 10am on the day of departure.

Payment:
Payment is by cheque or cash. Euros are also accepted.

Reservations:
Bookings are regarded as confirmed on receipt of a non refundable deposit of 25% of the weekly rate, the balance payable 6 weeks prior to holiday. A receipt or written confirmation from us is your proof of reservation. If at short notice we have taken your details over the telephone and entered them into the diary and we have informed you that the booking has been made an entry in our diary containing your full contact details will be considered proof that we have communicated with you and accepted your booking.

Deposits:
Deposits should be received by us within 10 days of making your reservation unless otherwise agreed.

Payment of your Account Balance:
The balance is due six weeks prior to arrival.

Booking Cancellation:
In the unfortunate event of your having to cancel your holiday please notify us by telephone immediately, followed by written confirmation. We recommend that you take out holiday insurance. If cancellation occurs more than six weeks before the commencement of your holiday the deposit will be retained. Less than six weeks the total cost will be payable.
We would seek to re-let the property within the remaining time frame, and if re-let any balance paid by you would be returned.
In the unlikely event that a booking has to be cancelled by us, because of circumstances beyond our control, we would of course refund all monies paid and do our utmost to find you alternative quality accommodation in the area, but there can be no claim against the owner.

Occupancy:
The property will be used solely for the purpose of a holiday by the Hirer and his party. The property shall be occupied by the Hirer who cannot sub-let the booking, or allow someone else to occupy the cottage in their place, for any part of the booking period. No more than the maximum number of people stated may occupy the property. If it is found that the number of people quoted has been exceeded the booking becomes null and void and would terminate any responsibility of the Owner to fulfil the hire contract. All money paid would be forfeited to the Owner. Well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement.

Damage:
A Good Housekeeping Deposit is required and is returnable if there is no damage or extra cleaning required. The Hirer is responsible for the property and equipment. The cooker, fridge and crockery must be left clean and the property clean and tidy. Any loss or damage caused to the property or equipment must be reported and the Hirer must pay for any damage or extra cleaning prior to departure.

Examples of reckless damage would be:

  • Dirty Foot ware - soiling of carpets or furnishings by deliberately walking into the house with mud encrusted foot ware or clothing
  • Spillage of red wine - onto furnishings or decor
  • Indelible ink on bedding or soft furnishings!

We will seek recompense for the full value of our property.

The Owner is not responsible for death or injury to guests or third parties, or for loss or damage to their belongings, cars or contents, or any other personal possessions.
